Hi, I'm Sowmya.
Engineer turned designer, building websites, web apps and social media from Dubai.
My story
My path to design started in engineering. I earned a B.Tech in Electronics & Communication from Sri Venkateswara University in Tirupati, then spent six years as a Deputy Manager at Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) in Bangalore, working in mobile telemetry and flight data processing.
I took a career break of about ten years to be with my two children. Along the way, I taught myself Canva and Filmora. In 2025, I began learning AI and web design, and found a new way to bring my technical and creative sides together.
Today, I design and build websites and web apps, and offer social media design and management for small businesses and startups. I'm based in Dubai and work with clients in the UAE and worldwide.
Modern tools, personal care
I use modern design and development tools, including AI, to work faster. That means more of your budget goes into design and getting the details right. Every design decision is mine, and I take care of each project personally, from the first call to launch and beyond.
